This afternoon, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a surprise visit to the Radio 1 studios as part of their Heads Together campaign which has been building momentum all week.
Kate's look was dressed down but still cleverly geared for the occassion. She opted for a frilled Alice Temperley blouse which she paired with jeans and boots- perfect inspiration for this weekend's pub lunch/ barbeque look.
It's not the first time Kate has trialled the boho frills trend- for a children's tea party in Canada last Autumn, she wore a See by Chloe dress similar to today's blouse.
Ever since Kate Middleton became engaged to Prince William over six years ago, the eyes of the world have been on the future Queen's fashion choices.
It's certainly true that the Duchess of Cambridge's look has come far since the sapphire Issa dress she wore to announce her engagement.
From the Jenny Packham dresses she wore to leave hospital with her babies to the elegant day and night looks by designers from Alexander McQueen to Roland Mouret and Emilia Wickstead, the Duchess has been loyal to British designers.
Kate also mixes in high street labels like Zara and Topshop with international names like Dolce and Gabbana and Kate Spade.
